Yes. Every conversion is free. The site is supported by a few clearly labelled ads that are kept away from the download controls.

Yes, if the Story is from a public account and is still live. Copy the link to the specific slide and paste it in. Stories expire after 24 hours unless they are saved to a Highlight.

Private content is only visible to followers the owner has approved. We never log in to Instagram on your behalf and we do not try to bypass privacy settings, so private posts and close-friends Stories cannot be converted.

Instagram sometimes asks visitors to log in before showing certain posts or Stories, or the post may have been deleted or archived. Check that the link opens in a private browser window without logging in. If it does, try again in a minute.

Photo posts and carousels made only of images have no sound track. Choose a Reel or a video post instead. Some photo Stories with a music sticker do carry sound.

To keep the service fast for everyone, each visitor can make a limited number of conversions in a short period. Wait a few minutes and you can continue.

We encode at a high-quality variable bitrate from the audio Instagram stored. Instagram compresses sound on upload, so the MP3 sounds the same as the Reel in the app — no better, but not worse either.

On iPhone, tap Download MP3 and confirm; the file appears in the Files app under Downloads. On Android, it goes to your Downloads folder and shows up in most music players.

No. You get exactly the audio that plays in the post. If a creator used a 20-second slice of a song, that is what the Reel contains. For the full track, use a licensed music service.

About 15 minutes. After that the file is deleted from our server, and you can simply paste the Instagram link again to create a fresh one.
